Hello Creatures,
Wow! We are seriously on a roll here. We are over 3000 backers and we're not even one week into the Creature Comforts campaign. This is truly unbelievable!! We've reached another Stretch Goal and we are well on our way to our next one. We have a lot of important stuff to talk about in this update. But before we get into it, let me thank you all for being here with us. Some of you have been here since the beginning. Some of you have just joined us. No matter how long you've been here for, please know that we appreciate your support more than you know.
What We've Unlocked
We love adding wooden bits to our games. It is helpful when they are also awesome like these 2 Almanacs, which replace the punchboard tokens found in the retail version..
What We're Working On
We've been working on this one for a little while. We want to know what animal you'd like to be our next Traveler. There have been many amazing suggestions. Since we are working on Woodland animals that are only found in Algonquin Park, Canada, we'd love it if you could take a look at this list before you make a suggestion. While we love animals from all over the world, this game is just about animals from this area. You can find the list here.
Ruel Gaviola's LIVE Play-Through Tonight

French Language Localization
We are really excited to announce that we are going to produce Creature Comforts en français!! We have found a partner to distribute the game for us. Surfing Meeple is as excited about this partnership as we are. This means that when we send out the pledge manager to you after the campaign, you will have the option to choose your Kickstarter edition of the game to be French.
Other Language Localizations
We are working frantically to acquire as many partners, before the campaign ends, as we can. This doesn't mean that we will. It just means that we are actively looking to translate the game into as many languages as we can. We will be in touch as soon as there is more news about that.

More Stretch Goals Reached and NEW SHIPPING!!

Hello Creatures,
What a few incredible days it has been since our last update. Not only have we blasted through two new Stretch Goals, but we have new shipping prices for you. Before we get to any of that, I would like to welcome all of our new backers and thank those of you who have been here for some time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and we know how lucky we are to have you here with us. We hope that you are all enjoying the coziest of campaigns!! Creature Comforts is really something.

New Shipping Prices for Europe
We've heard many of you say that you know we can do better with shipping. So, since Tuesday morning, when we launched, I have been talking with many fulfilment houses to get better prices for shipping. This affects only some European countries, as that is where we knew we could find better pricing. Pricing for the rest of the world remains the same. There will be no change for those countries.
Have a look at the chart on the left. These are the countries with new shipping prices. The chart on the right is the new chart that has been posted on the page. We are very excited to bring these changes to you!

More Stretch Goals Down, and a Special Surprise

Hello Creatures,
We've had a very strong 30+ hours here at the KTBG cottage. Not only did we reach our next three Stretch Goals, but we surpassed them. We've hit $100 000CA, which is a huge milestone for this campaign. But before we get into that, I wanted to welcome all of our new backers (since the first update), and say thank you so much to our backers who have been here since we launched. We really appreciate all of you. And as I always tell backers, we can't do this without your incredible support. We 100% believe that YOU are making this happen. We are just here to guide you. So thank you again! Now, let's get on with the show.
What We've Unlocked
We are so excited to introduce 3 new Comfort Cards - with a winter theme!! And we've already unlocked one of them. Snowshoes are a must in our Canadian winters, if you're an outdoors enthusiast.

We Did It! Funded and Smashing Through Stretch Goals

Hello Creatures!
Welcome to the Creature Comforts campaign. This is the coziest game we have ever made. And isn't it perfect timing? Here in the northern hemisphere we're beginning to bundle up with our warmest quilts, and our most calming cups of tea. Over the next 3 weeks + you are going to hear so much about this truly fantastic game designed by Roberta Taylor and illustrated by Shawna JC Tenney. But for this update, we want to welcome all of you and let you know what's happening around this cozy cottage of ours.

This took us by surprise. It came upon us so quickly. But we are happy that we blasted through our funding goal because it means that we are able to start adding some more really nice content to the game.
