Italian, EU, and Spanish Update

Hello Awesome Creatures!
I am so sorry to bombard you with a second update in 24 hours. But I have finally heard some news from our Italian partner, and I have some information on EU and Spanish shipments.
Italian Freight
Unfortunately, it seems that the Italian games are delayed. They are taking their time getting to Italy. The shipment is scheduled to arrive on March 31. Little Rocket Games believes that they will have everything out of their warehouse to Italian Creature Comforts backers by the middle of April. They are sorry for the delay. But these days, it seems like anything goes. They picked up their pallets at the same time as everyone else. So it is baffling to me how this is all shaking out.
EU Fulfilment
I got news from Surfin' Meeple today that they sent out 231 orders of the 1813 non-French backers. They are hoping to finish all non-French shipments soon. I will let you know when they are done.
Spanish Fulfilment
It looks like people are beginning to receive their games in Spain. If you have backed for a Spanish game and you are outside of Spain, please be patient. Your game will get to you. It will take longer to get there, since your game is travelling from Spain. If you require a replacement or something is missing from your game, please send an email to [email protected]. They will help you out!

Freight Update #7, Fulfilment Update #2

Hello Awesome Creatures!
First of all, I want to thank all of you for your amazing patience! You have been amazing! We are so lucky to have such amazing backers! Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts! Lots to get into today. So let's do it!
US/MX/Central America/South America
Your games are finally getting ready to go. Yesterday I got a message saying that some of the bar codes have the wrong numbers. So they have taken this time to get everything organized. I imagine your games will begin shipping next week. I will confirm for you when they begin leaving PSI.
Canada (English and French)
PSI got your games moving yesterday. They will finally reach our freight forwarder on Thursday and head immediately to Toronto. Universal tells me that they have no other big projects over the next while, so we're lucky in this case! Your games will go out almost immediately. Except if you are a backer of a French game.
If you are a backer for a French game, please remember that we are not going to be shipping your games until we get the replacement rules/cards. Those will be another week to print and another week to send to Canada. We should begin shipping those immediately after they get to Universal in Canada.
AU/NZ
Your games have shipped. Please don't worry if you have not received anything yet. They are sending out the final games this week. So you should get it soon!
Asia and RoW Freight
All games in Asia have shipped. If you are in Brazil, your games are still on their way. They will get there eventually.
UK Freight
I should be getting an update soon from Shipquest regarding our freight. It is supposed to land tomorrow. So, we will see what the next steps are.
EU Freight (English, German, Dutch, and French)
Great news! Your games have arrived at Surfin' Meeple!! They tell me that they will begin sending games out over the next few days. I suspect that most games will go out at the beginning of next week. Please remember that if you have ordered a French game, we are still manufacturing the replacement cards/rules, and yours will take some extra time.
Spanish Games
I have heard from Servando from GenX that games are going out! I am still waiting to get confirmation when they have completed fulfilment. I will send an update about this when I know more.
Italian Games
I have not heard from Little Rocket Games about your games. This means that they haven't arrived yet. I will update you when I know more.
Replacement/Missing Parts
While we always strive to make a perfect game with no flaws, this is impossible to do with so many components. The average number of issues that we see on our KS games range from 1-3% of games with defective or missing parts. Before you request a replacement, we'd like you to consider the following because of the replacement impact on the environment:
Does this part effect my game play? If the answer is yes, please email us at [email protected].
If the answer is no, please consider the environment. We are very conscious of the impact that producing our games has on the environment. And while we will replace a part if you want us to, and if it is reasonable to do so, we would also be very happy to not produce more emissions than we have to.
- If you are missing a rulebook, it is possible to print one out at home.
- If you have a wooden bit that broke during transport, it is possible to use a dab of white or wood glue to put it back together.
- We pack in more components than you need. We do this so that we don't have to send out replacements for bits. If you are missing 1 coin, or 1 stone, consider that you likely will not need it ever.
Again, we will always send out a replacement. We want you to be happy with your game. So, if you really want it, please let us know.
Rate Creature Comforts on BGG
One of the things that helps the longevity of a game are reviews. The best place to do that is on boardgamegeek.com. If you have received your game and have played it already, please consider giving us an honest rating and comment about about the game. It will help us move up the charts and keep this game going.

Freight Update #6 and Fulfilment Update #1

Hello Awesome Creatures!
So much good news to share with you today, Creatures. When we get more news, we'll share it with you in a timely manner. Please remember that we are living in unprecedented times, with demands and delays at every single checkpoint. So, we very much appreciate how excited you are to receive your games, and how incredibly patient you are being about it. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
US/CA/MX/Central America/South America
Your games have FINALLY been released from the checkpoint at the docks. They are scheduled to leave on Monday, and should arrive at the PSI warehouse by Tuesday. As you know, our first order of business is to move the Canadian games off to our Canadian fulfilment partner Universal, and then begin to ship the rest of the games. On a typical campaign it takes about a week or two to get all of the games out. PSI is very good at getting games moving out quickly. I will get a schedule from them after they send out the Canadian games and will send out more information about this next week. But, YAY!!!!
If you are a backer for a French game, please remember that we are not going to be shipping your games until we get the replacement rules/cards. This will likely take another 3-4 weeks.
AU/NZ
As you already know, your games will begin shipping the week of February 22. That is next week. How exciting!!
Asia and RoW Freight
I am incredibly stoked to tell you that your games are shipping as we speak. And as we know from our amazing friend and backer Yuri, some of them have already arrived. Check out this adorable video he made to show us his excitement!
UK Freight
I received an email this morning from ShipQuest that our games will land on March 2nd at the port. This is now confirmed. While this is an exciting date, it does not mean that they will move away from the port on this date. We are unsure how long it will take to get to you from there, at this point. But rest assured, we're going to keep you updated every step of the way. Currently ShipQuest has all of the information that it needs to pick and pack your games. So it should be a relatively smooth transition from receiving to shipping.
EU Freight
I have received information about your games headed to Surfin' Meeple in France. The games will land in Barcelona on February 24th, and should arrive at Surfin' Meeple on February 28th. Surfin' Meeple is also really good at getting games out quickly. They will begin the picking and packing process right when they receive them. If you have ordered a French game, please keep in mind that we are still manufacturing the replacement cards/rules, and yours will take some extra time.
Replacement/Missing Parts

German and Spanish Games

My apologies for completely leaving this information out of the previous update...
German Language Backers
Please note that your games are coming from us, KTBG, by way of Surfin' Meeple in France. They are not part of the Board Game Circus print run (although we used the same translation). If you have any questions or concerns about your German language games, please email us at [email protected]. If you have any missing or broken components, you should also contact us at this email address.
Spanish Language Backers
Please note that your games are arriving from GenX Games in Spain. They are not coming from KTBG. In fact, I got word this morning that the games have arrived at their warehouses and they will begin shipping next week. GenX will take care of your replacements. Please note that we will not be responding to requests for Spanish language KS backers. Instead, please contact GenX Games at [email protected]. They will be able to help you with any issues and inquiries you may have.
If you are a retailer, please don't worry. Your invoices should be coming soon.

Freight Update #5

Hello Awesome Creatures!
It has been a couple of weeks. I wanted to update you on the state of Freight worldwide. This will be a brief update, with only new information for a few regions. Again, when I know something new, I'll let you know. Please remember that we are living in unprecedented times, with demands and delays at every single checkpoint. So, we very much appreciate how excited you are to receive your games, and how incredibly patient you are being about it. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
US/CA/MX/Central America/South America
Your games arrived at the port in Georgia last week. As far as I knew, they were headed to PSI where they would be picked and packed and delivered to you. Over the weekend I got word that the games were put in quarantine until they were inspected. This can take up to two weeks. Thankfully, the inspection happened this very morning. They will leave the port any day now.
Please keep in mind that we are sending out the Canadian freight to our forwarder first, and then the rest of the games will be picked and packed for the US, MX, Cent. and S. America. Canadian backers, the next time you'll hear from me about this is when the games reach our Canadian fulfilment warehouse.
AU/NZ
While your games have been in the country for a little while now, it seems that Aetherworks is a bit backed up. Your games will begin shipping the week of February 22. They say that it might happen earlier; if it does, we'll let you know.
Asia and RoW Freight
Your games were picked and packed before the holidays. But unfortunately, VFI was unable to get them moving before they went on holidays. The good news is that once they return next week, we'll see them go out almost immediately.
UK Freight
We are still on track with this information:

EU Freight
This was the proposed schedule: Voyage: ONE MACKINAC V.030W
ETD: 27-01-2022
ETA: 24-02-2022
Since China is at a standstill right now, I don't have any further information (communications for freight for the EU comes from China). But I am waiting to hear. You will know more when I do.
An Update on French Translation
Translation edits have been completed and they are off to the printers. This mistake (we accept full responsibility) is costing us many thousands of dollars to fix. Unfortunately it is also costing us time. While we have moved as quickly as we could with the edits and printing, it is still going to add time to your package arrival, if you are receiving a French Creature Comforts. I am waiting on a timeline from our manufacturer at the moment. But you should know that we are going to send them by air to the EU and to Canada. This information is for anyone who has backed the game for a French version, no matter where in the world that you live. Please be patient with us. We are doing the best that we can.
