Hello Creatures,
This is a very brief and informative update. I will be more detailed next week when I have more information to send to you.
Italian Games
The games have docked and are soon to be on their way to Little Rocket Games. They are sure that they will begin sending out games within the next 10 days. More information to come when we are closer to sending them out.
Spanish Games
If you are in Spain, you will have received your game already. If you are not in Spain, it is likely that you will not have received it yet. GenX Games has had some internal issues (this is why your emails have not been responded to), and they are working through the backlog of emails as soon as they can. We know that it is typical practice to respond to an email within 24-48 hours of sending, but in this case, due to health reasons, the person whose job it was to respond, has left her position. They have since filled it, and are working with this person to catch up. All of your emails will be taken care of. We ask for your patience and understanding in this transition time for GenX Games. You can contact them at [email protected].
UK Games
Yes, your games have been ready to go for some time. Yes, they have been sitting there for a while. It seems that GamesQuest is struggling to keep up due to continuing covid related issues. I make no excuses for the length of time this is taking. It must be so hard to watch so many others enjoying Creature Comforts while you know that yours is sitting in a warehouse just waiting to be shipped to you. We promise, from our side, we've done everything they have asked of us, and have been prepared for some time now. We ask you to give them a little more time to get your games to you. And we thank you so much for your incredible patience.
French Canada Games

UK
You have been so amazingly patient. Thank you so very much for this and your support. GamesQuest has all of the information they need to begin fulfilment. I don't have an exact time for games to begin shipping, but I assure you it is any day now. I'm so excited to get these games into your hands.
Canada and Canadian French Games
Attention French Canada backers! Your replacements have arrived in Canada and will begin shipping early next week. Thank you so much for your amazing patience!
English-speaking Canada, your games have all shipped, except for one big shipment in the Toronto area. Unfortunately we had many damages while freight was moving and we've had to move more games from the US to ship to you. This should happen within the next couple of weeks. I am so very sorry about the length of time it has taken to get you your games. It just seems like one issue after another but we are getting through it!

US/Mexico/Central and South America
If you are in Mexico, Central America, or South America and don't have your game yet, please do not worry. It is on its way. If you are a backer from these regions and have ordered a Spanish game, please contact GenX with your questions at [email protected].

Attention French game backers! You'll be very excited to know that your games will be shipped immediately from Surfin' Meeple. Yes, they have received the replacements and will start shipping as we speak.
For all other backers with games shipped from Surfin' Meeple (other than French games), you should have received it already. If your game is missing or you have issues with components, Surfin' Meeple will take care of you. You can find them at: https://support.matagot-friends.com/?lang=en_US. This link is for EU BACKERS ONLY!
Italian Games
A few weeks ago there were several English games that were sent out to Italian backers by accident. If they have not already done so, Surfin' Meeple is going to send you a return label for the game to be returned. Italian games are slated to go out in the middle of April. We will keep you up to date with this information in the coming weeks.
Spanish Games
GenX has completed fulfilment to backers. If you have not received your game yet, it is because you live outside of Spain. Please don't worry; it is coming. If you have any issues with your game, please contact GenX, as they are the sole publisher of the Spanish version and replacements don't have anything to do with us. You can contact them at [email protected].
North American Replacements/Missing Parts
While we always strive to make a perfect game with no flaws, this is impossible to do with so many components. The average number of issues that we see on our KS games range from 1-3% of games with defective or missing parts. Before you request a replacement, we'd like you to consider the following because of the replacement impact on the environment:
Does this part effect my game play? If the answer is yes, please email us at [email protected].
If the answer is no, please consider the environment. We are very conscious of the impact that producing our games has on the environment. And while we will replace a part if you want us to, and if it is reasonable to do so, we would also be very happy to not produce more emissions than we have to.
If you are missing a rulebook, it is possible to print one out at home.
If you have a wooden bit that broke during transport, it is possible to use a dab of white or wood glue to put it back together.
We pack in more components than you need. We do this so that we don't have to send out replacements for bits. If you are missing 1 coin, or 1 stone, consider that you likely will not need it ever.
**Again, we will always send out a replacement. We want you to be happy with your game. So, if you really want it, please let us know.

Hello hello Creatures!
What a flurry of action over the last week! So much to tell you about. So, let's just get into it. We'll begin with freight and fulfilment.
UK
At the end of last week GamesQuest informed me that they finally have your games. As of today, I have no other information. I am waiting for my lovely rep at GQ to let me know what the shipping plan and timeline are before I say anything else. I will let you know when I have more information. This is a long process, but we're getting there.
Canada
Your games have all shipped, as of the end of last week. It is very possible that it could take as much as another week and a half for some of you to get your games. So if you haven't received it yet, it's coming! For more information on the French games, please see below.
US/Mexico/Central and South America
PSI completed shipping your games out on March 17. This doesn't mean that everyone should have it by now. It just means that the games have left PSI. Please be patient as they make their way to your home.
VFI Worldwide HUB Shipping
This is still the current shipping status from VFI. Some of you have noticed differences in shipping dates. Please understand that much of China (including its ports) is shut down due to COVID:

Italian Games
There were a few English games that were sent out to backers because of a logistical error. This was totally a mistake on our end. You will still be getting your game in Italian if you ordered the Italian version. We are likely going to ask that you send the accidental English game to the Italian publisher, Little Rocket Games, so that they can be sent elsewhere. We are still working on the exact plan for that. Thank you for your patience with this.
Spanish Games
GenX has completed fulfilment to backers. If you have not received your game, please don't worry. It is coming. French Games
Good news and bad news. I'll start with the good news. Your replacements were ready at exactly the time I said that they would be. They were packaged up and sent to the port in China for air freight to Canada and France. At the end of last week I got a notification that the port is closed due to COVID. So. we are continuing to wait. Once they get into the air, it should not take more than a week to get to the warehouse and then they will all be sent out immediately.
We want to thank you all for the incredibly patience you have show to us. We appreciate it more than you know.

Some information for you today coming from our fulfilment partners.
UK
I have just heard from GamesQuest that your games are still sitting at the port waiting to be inspected. They have a tentative receiving date of March 15th right now. I will send you another update when I hear more.
Canada
Your games are in the warehouse! They are being picked and packed as we speak. At this point, it looks like they will be going out ASAP. Yay! They will be coming from Universal in Ontario. So, if you are all the way on the East or West Coast, imagine that they will take longer to get to you.
US/Mexico/Central and South America
PSI is still estimating a completion date of March 17. A few of you have received notification from them that your games are on the way. Most of you have not. Please do not worry until at least the end of March if you have not received a notification and/or your game. There are always wrinkles to be ironed out while a fulfilment project the size of this one progresses.

There is no need for further action on your part, as they will go out automatically to you. You don't have to make a request.

Yet another update. Just trying to keep you informed.
US/Mexico/Central and South America
PSI tells me that they have an estimated completion date of March 17. This means that many of your games have been picked and packed already. Very exciting news. You should be getting your games within the next two weeks. PSI is in Georgia. So if you live in the area, likely you'll be the first to get your games. But you'll get a shipping notification and tracking number first. So you will be aware of when your game is on its way.
Canada
Your games are still moving. More info coming soon!
